The UK Pun Championships
The annual UK Pun Championships attracts hundreds of festival goers each year and takes place in a boxing ring at De Montfort Hall. Celebrating the best of the British pun, contestants go head to head, punning against each other in rounds until the final two are left to battle it out in the final. The ultimate punner is decided by way of whoops and cheers from the audience.
Applications for The UK Pun Championships 2025 are now closed, with 2026 applications opening late next year.
