Leicester Comedy Festival & The UK Kids' Comedy Festival both operate their Box Office through a system called Eventotron - this is the same place you will register your shows. Below are some key features of Eventotron that you will find handy during registration, the lead up to your show and on the day itself.

With Eventotron, you can easily keep track of how many tickets your show(s) has/have sold. This information can be found in the 'dates, times & prices' section of your event listing(s), where you can see:

• Tickets sold
• Complimentary tickets issued (these may be press tickets, promoter tickets etc)
• Tickets held off sale (again these may be promoter tickets for example)
• Ticket income
• Ticket availability (this information can be used to alter the allocation you have given the festival if you wish to do so)

If you would like a more regular update on ticket sales, Eventotron allows us to set up a scheduled sales report to your email address. If you'd like us to do this for you, please contact boxoffice@comedy-festival.co.uk with the following information:

• The show(s) you'd like a ticket sales report for
• The email address you'd like the report sending to
• How often you'd like the report & the time you'd like to receive it

If you would like to change the image, copy or any other information on your website listing, you can do this in the 'listing' section of your event on Eventotron. If you'd like us to alter things for you, please send the updated image and/or copy to boxoffice@comedy-festival.co.uk

Please note, all images must be a minimum of 680 x 680 pixels and web copy has a maximum character limit of 600 characters.

We understand that sometimes things happen that mean a show/shows will need to be cancelled. Leicester Comedy Festival & The UK Kids' Festivals' cancellation policy is that there is no charge for cancelling a show, but festival registration fees are non refundable as this payment is not a deposit & covers the registration of your show on Eventotron and the addition of your show in our brochure and website.

As much as possible, we strive for shows to go ahead as outlined in the brochure and festival website. Many shows sell tickets at the last minute and low advance ticket sales is not normally a sufficient reason to cancel a show.  We sell around 70% of our tickets in the 2 weeks leading to the festival start day.  We also sell a significant number of tickets on the day of shows so sales can be fairly last minute.

If you wish to cancel your show please email boxoffice@comedy-festival.co.uk as soon as possible and our box office team will take the necessary action. 

Eventotron's Door Tool is what the person/people responsible for checking ticketholders in on the day of your show will use. Here, they can stop advanced ticket sales to manage how many tickets are available on the door, as well as access your customer list(s) in a variety of ways:

• Directly on Eventotron
• Scanning a QR code to open the Door Tool on a smartphone
• Sending the list as an email link
• Downloading a CSV file of the customer list

The process of settling your show(s) will happen once the festivals have finished. You should receive your payment(s) up to 8 weeks after the festival. Please make sure the bank details you provide when registering your show are correct, as they cannot be changed on Eventotron once submitted. If you need to change your bank details after submission, please email boxoffice@comedy-festival.co.uk to let us know.

 From time to time we issue complimentary tickets to media who want to review festival shows.  When you register your show on Eventotron, you have the option to let us know if you we have your permission to offer review tickets. This does not guarantee you a review, it only allows us to give issue tickets to the press when requested. 

We have a policy of providing free companion tickets to those who need them. This allows us to keep the festival open and accessible. The tickets that we give away come out of the festivals allocation, they are not subsidised by the festival.
